No, but I did establish that it's an air intake temperature sender unit, LR032216. Darren

Excelent, thank you very much LRA, I might give it a go. As a complete novice I get a little paniced with things like this, as if it goes wrong I have nobody really to fix it!! I will have a good read through your notes! Bow down

The air filter change has I think made some difference.

Carried out operation Buzzweld. The paint seemed a bit thin for my liking. If The worst comes to the worst I can always repaint it.

Perhaps the ads should be changed "Refurbish your cross-member. Save the NHS".
