I have finally had a bit of time yesterday before the rain came in to change my vents ( flaps ) Wink as the foam was nearly non existent and letting extra cold air in, this has been going on for a long time Rolling Eyes i think that the foam was the original from when she left the factory Shocked

Not much to see in the pic's but taking them off was not to bad, but putting them on was a bit more involved, in the end i got a mirror so i could line up the hole and then get the bolt the right angle to catch the thread, once i had done this, the others went in a lot easier. The top pins on the N/S came out very easily Very Happy but the pins on the O/S came out ok but with the help of a screw driver and hammer, once they were out i could see that they were a tiny bit rusted, so i cleaned them up with a bit of wet n dry and they went in proper, so all was good Very Happy I finished just in time as about 5 minutes later the rain started Sad

Very Happy

So with the original vents off, as the rain started i went of to my shed and made a start on them to get them cleaned up and ready to put back on sometime .....

Back done and ready to take the foam .......

I have made a start on the front but not finshed them yet as there is more to do on them ..............

Struggling with seeing what normality is. Though the weights on the wheels look fresh and there's finger marks all over them... New tyres?

Well done Clayton, I guess the roll cage didn't make the vent job any way easy.

Thanks Mariner Thumbs Up

No it did not, i could have done with that bit more open, but a sudden thought of using a mirror did the trick Wink 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.
