Yep good old push rod brakes, no cables or hoses in sight, all the blokes I work with were amazed how the brakes work as they had never seen anything like it

Little job for tonight, the No 1 ball joint boot was shredded and the steering damper bushes were looking a little flat so time to fit some new bits

All necessary parts well coated in copper slip for future tracking etc

Yep makes a good work bench

don’t think I can justify fitting a vice to it though

might find a different place for that.

Small job update, in the bid to rectify the spongy brake pedal I decided to have a rummage in the trailer and pulled out two new front callipers and some pads, no idea on the fitting kit location so had to refit the old one until the new one arrives;

With all this work I might be able to see the back of the trailer soon

If it's an artic trailer, then no chance you will see the back of it

You can always make a bracket and then bolt it to the vice and then on to the drop/adjustable plate on the dixon bate hitch, then you would have one ready and waiting when you need it and different heights

Buggsy did her first drive today and to be fair it went well, no overheating, no warning lights and no worrying wobbles

A few points;
brakes still a little spongy for my liking so more work needed.
The light bar definitely doesn’t light up the 361 very well

but some hyper spots would add the the effect

Oh and if you thought I had forgotten about the first line:

No idea how but my HD drive flange but decided it would be better bouncing down what I think was the A35

So now I need to buy a new pair, oh and a center trim for the wheel

It could of indeed been worse grafty, ah I did let the sun set, I might of sped up sunrise to start at 0300

Well Buggsy is now fully registered and insured

all mods including the re-map that came on my new ecu is listed at no extra charge

just need to get an official set of plates made up and I’m good for the road
