Yep good old push rod brakes, no cables or hoses in sight, all the blokes I work with were amazed how the brakes work as they had never seen anything like it Rolling with laughter 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html

Little job for tonight, the No 1 ball joint boot was shredded and the steering damper bushes were looking a little flat so time to fit some new bits Very Happy

Yep makes a good work bench Thumbs Up don’t think I can justify fitting a vice to it though Rolling with laughter might find a different place for that.

Small job update, in the bid to rectify the spongy brake pedal I decided to have a rummage in the trailer and pulled out two new front callipers and some pads, no idea on the fitting kit location so had to refit the old one until the new one arrives;

With all this work I might be able to see the back of the trailer soon Rolling with laughter 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html

If it's an artic trailer, then no chance you will see the back of it Laughing

You can always make a bracket and then bolt it to the vice and then on to the drop/adjustable plate on the dixon bate hitch, then you would have one ready and waiting when you need it and different heights Whistle 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.

Not quite she’s only a 20’ box trailer Whistle

Great minds think a like Clayton Thumbs Up the current tow bar is a fixed one but I will be looking into a receiver hitch so I can do just that. 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html

Censored Censored Banging Head Banging Head Censored Censored

Buggsy did her first drive today and to be fair it went well, no overheating, no warning lights and no worrying wobbles Very Happy

A few points;
brakes still a little spongy for my liking so more work needed.
The light bar definitely doesn’t light up the 361 very well Whistle but some hyper spots would add the the effect Cool

Oh and if you thought I had forgotten about the first line:

No idea how but my HD drive flange but decided it would be better bouncing down what I think was the A35 Big Cry
So now I need to buy a new pair, oh and a center trim for the wheel Banging Head 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html
