dorsetsmith, I think the jag uses or used the mondao floor pan. My pal said they used the ford locks too. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

The Jaguar x-type was basically a Mondeo. Running gear, engine and a lot of the electronics. The V6 Jag is basically a AWD ST220

Looking under the shell, my previous assumptions were correct. The rear shell is pretty good and the front is poor. Thinking of welding the obvious bits and then getting the shell blasted. Any thoughts? 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Made a little bit of progress today. Kept getting distracted

Could really do with an engine stand but haven't got the room to store one. Yeah the gearbox is next on my list. Need to split it from the transfer box first and get it off the ground
