I wonder if they could get away with that alloy wheel ehem "conversion" now? Lovely 4 stud to 5 stud conversion 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Thought that the Maestro van was used for the original Discovery mule? Certainly used the same tail light cluster as well as a lot of the switches & indicator stalks etc from the Metro/Maestro/Montego parts bin. |

I never knew the maestro was used a test mule for land rovers, laugh a metro van was used a test mule for the mgf. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

The Maestro van was used quite a lot, remember this was back in the era of British Leyland.
The original Disco used many BL parts, mostly from the Maestro van such as the rear lights and door handles. Apparently this was because there was so little money for development and tooling for the new vehicle that every penny mattered. |
