You will need to buy an ISO adapter. Got mine from MUD. Then it plugs in all ok and the sub is all part of that connection 2015 90 XS Santorini Black

I’m tempted. I have a phone microphone on my steering column connected to the alpine unit which came with my Defender from new.. Does it work with that?

I’m sure the alpine uses the same mini phono jack for the microphone so I’d say yes, but even if not just use the pioneer mic it’s not difficult to fit that bit My 90 Project : http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic52774.html

A few weeks in and I must say the only thing I’m disappointed about this pioneer is I didn’t get it sooner; it’s fantastic .
I also like the button which temporarily folds the screen flat to allow access to the buttons which it blocks - it’s like they designed it for the Puma dash! My 90 Project : http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic52774.html |

The standard mic does not fit the pioneer head unit. I just fitted the supplied mic next to the standard one and ran the wire
across. Very simple. I also have spent hours designing and making extension looms in order to re locate the hidden switches into a mud pod on top of the dash. Haven’t done it yet and I have found that the screen easily flips down if Required. I am still thinking about this. Probably will re locate the switches in due course and also convert the hazzard switch to the discovery type. Although this is al little more involved. 2015 90 XS Santorini Black |

Hi all,
Can anyone confirm if an ISO adapter is needed to fit the Pioneer Z710 replacing the current Alpine CDE-133BT that I have? I'm interested in buying the Pioneer based on the current price on Amazon but want to make sure I know what I'm getting into! Thanks. |
