Great pair of motors there! check the joints on the prop shafts for any play, also give them a good Greece up too. That what me and my dad did with mine last week, give the prop shafts a good Greece and the universal joints a check and a Greece. we did replace one as I mentioned in my thread. All is well now. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

That's exactly what I said to Clayton but he said they're standard springs. I think a combination of the winch and bumper plus smaller rolling radius tyres makes it the same height as mine. My tyres are a good inch taller Thumbs Up

I really like Clayton's 110 I think they look great as pickups Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Well I got the ramp installed today. Just got to fill it with hydraulic fluid, a bit of tidying of cables/pipes and then Hook it up to the 3 phase Mr. Green

My first job on it will be my 13 pin towing electrics which I have been putting off for far too long Laughing

Started off by using the tractor to lift the uprights into the workshop:

Then bought the digger in to lift the posts upright:

Then with a bit of help I got up and bolted the cross bar together, which was interesting to do, at this point both uprights are free standing, very heavy and need alignment to bolt the cross bar in Shocked

Then after marking the holes in had to move the complete ramp to drill 10 holes 24mm in diameter and 120mm deep.

All lined up it was bolted down and the arms fitted. Happy days Mr. Green Thumbs Up

Hopefully this will make things much easier and will help me crack on with a few bits and pieces Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon
