I'd be up for that, maybe we could see if more people would be interested.
Have you got Quaife LSD's front and rear or was that someone else? Any other drivetrain upgrades, will you be using a paddle clutch for example? I'm thinking my 'heavy duty' Valeo clutch is going to take a hammering if I go much beyond 18psi and install the water/meth and nitrous. |

This was the one!
http://www.totaloffroad.co.uk/vehicles/spe...nd-goings/ "The first of the bits was a Range Rover chassis and the next bit was that 200Tdi engine. But, again, not any old engine. He acquired a Bowler engine with no intercooler, which is reckoned to produce nearly 180bhp. This went into the 100-inch chassis, mated to an R380 gearbox and a Discovery transfer case. All this was done in a couple of days." "The chassis was simply clean and stock, and that Bowler engine was an ex-race unit with uprated pistons and rings, crank and head gasket, plus a reworked injector pump. Power, he’s been told, could go up from 180bhp to 230bhp if he adds an intercooler and hybrid turbo. Tasty." ![]() |

Pistons are being professionally coated along with the manifold.
No. Lightening seriously reduces the low end torque which I don't want to sacrifice. |

I've never heard of that Bowler engine outside of the article, bet they're hens teeth!
![]() Turns out the cause of oil leaking may be more to do with a loose oil return line rather than fully synthetic oil ![]() |
