Very thin on the ground in the UK im afraid, the expense of the drive train would be pretty severe too 1993 200 Tdi 90 CSW

Finally fixed the oil leak problems. The 200tdi's boosting at 25psi max. Definitely needs that 1.2 ratio transfer box upgrade now as it's still got a 1.6 in and maxes out rpm wise at about 55mph, and you can't get through the gears fast enough

1st gear's pretty redundant at this point!
Seriously though on skinny road tyres a 1.6 box with a 200tdi (originally 2.5NA) is laughable. Got a 1.2 box waiting with new input gear from Ashcroft fitted, awaiting the grungy rust-coloured sludge and worn input shaft when we take off the 1.6 box though Does anyone have a Defender R380 with the 200tdi bellhousing (preferably for less than a grand?) |

Stumpy R380s are pretty hard to come by which is why they command a high price. Best to buy a td5 box and convert it yourself. That's what I have done.
