Well, the reg we've chosen lends itself a bit. We steered our lad into choosing APU for the tailend. It's the name of a character in The Simpsons- he runs the Quickimart.

I guess it'll be Apu. It'll probably turn out to be a pile of Censored anyway so quite apt. D300 HSE 110

Rolling with laughter thanks for the chuckle, I suppose it's best to have low expectations, everything else will be a bonus.

Apu looks gorgeous, top colour and still got the covers on the seats Bow down

Zagato's right there! She does indeed look fantastic! Have you compiled a 'wishlist' yet? What's first? If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!!

Ready to transplant is the MSS store drawer, roof rack and spots. My auto electrician will be fitting dual battery system as per last one and various electrical socketry and facilities like a removeable shelf for the fridge. It gets waxoyled next Saturday. The dealer is fitting snorkel and front light guards, mats and rigid spare cover. I've kept the Patriot roof box (although I had it colour matched in Zambezi so it'll be out a bit against the Zermatt!!) and all the Howling Moon stuff.

Chewing over the Sonic spare wheel mount and a couple of other treats like removeable steering wheel from Raid. We'll see. D300 HSE 110

Side steps are XS standard. I didn't want them. Instead there's a 'new style' in the dealer fit accessories brochure that have black rubber 'blobs' for grip instead of the passe silver chequer plate. I guess I could drill out the plate and replace with black from somewhere. The dealer wanted £435 to supply and fit my choice! D300 HSE 110

@18stone, who's your sparky? Are they a commercial outfit?

I'm getting ready for the next major step with mine and it'll be about putting in place the electrics. I'm weighing up the pros and cons of doing it myself verses getting someone else to sort it for me

Alantd, it's Jon Norman of Brunel Engineering on the Essex coast. His claim to fame is his intercoolers but he is an ace fabricator/sparks and engine builder (has a TVR-powered bobbed Rangey in lurid green he uses in challenges/Crossiere Blanche etc). I imagine Footloose in Peterborough would be much nearer to you, although having not yet got Jon to quote I've no idea how costs would compare?

To aid you Alan and add to what Ade has said.

Footloose would not be cheap but the standard of work is excellent. I once (about 8yrs ago) spent over 10k with footloose on one vehicle and the work was worth every penny.

Brunel Engineering, excellent also and safe with your money.

My first Puma electric was done by a chap called Chris Hazleton who was a ex LR Special Projects/Developments technician who after they relocated started his own mobile business called Venture Developments. He came to my place of work two days in a row worked from 7.30 to 5.30 on my 110 and I think the total bill was 680 (I had quotes for 1200 from others) or close to that (including parts). I don’t know if he is still going but I have his card still.

On my second Puma I did it all myself as you probably seen from my posts.

Boy
