looking at the photo I believe the reference is to the chain. Don't make old people mad. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |

Hi i have not got the side locker that you have got, but when i fitted my 2 lockers (one each side) i made a bracket up to bolt on the back of the box to the landy chassis and put some Stixall (same as Tiger Seal but cheaper) around the bolt heads in the box to keep the water out, which has worked 100%, hope this helps you 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.

The drilling is done.
To fit it in the right side of a 2015 puma, you have about 15mm margin to place the box. If you go higher, you have to go more to the back, and then the fuel filter gets in the way. Tomorrow I'll make the support so the box can rest on the chassis and be fixed to the support. The fuel filter protector also needs a cut or the locker will not fit. If you have rock-sliders you can't place the locker lower than 30mm from the bottom of the side panel, or you won't be able to open the door wide enough. I also have the impression that the door is quite far from the side panel. Seems like the locker should not be pushed in the whole but place via the bottem and then push it outwards, but there is not enough space to make that possible. Once done, more photo's will follow. Your making good progress there, you get very nervous when you are cutting the hole out, even when you have measured ten times 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.

Good work penguin, sometimes you have to be brave 😊
Nice to see you fitting stuff yourself, too many people miss out on the 'fun' of installation by paying someone else to do it. Well done Mo The Land Rover 90 - Many are called, few are chosen. 50 Shades of Pennine Grey |
