I do keep looking at drl bumpers but can't decide if I want round or rectangle lights I suppose as its a defender it should be more about use and purpose but I like asthetics too and my symmetry ocd is throwing in a curve ball with the other lights on the front being round Ray

Got my nas step back from the powder coaters (again) today and although it's not perfect, it's a lot better than last time I picked it up so I'll leave it for now. I put it on and waxed the whole of the inside but forgot to put something underneath on the floor so half an hour later I also had a waxed drive
Click image to enlarge I managed to tidy up the crossmember this week in prep for the step coming back so all I need to do now is refit the wheel carrier oh and put a new rear door on Also managed to find one of these as I shouldn't need to tow anything with this one. All back together now and I think it looks lots tidier also the rattle has gone from the old step which is a bonus. I did have to take more off the wheel carrier to get it to fit though.

My fingers now have lots of cuts again but the first layer of sound deadening is on the roof!
All stripped out Click image to enlarge First layer on Click image to enlarge Because the roof is big, flat and wobbly I'm putting two layers of deadening on and then the closed cell foam which is Ali faced so it should be quieter, warmer in winter (with no condensation) and cooler in summer. The other layers will go on next week when I have some more free time Ray My build thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic17615.html |

Finally got around to putting the roof back together and with two layers of sound deadening and two layers of closed cell foam it should be a lot quieter
8 square mtrs of this Click image to enlarge Gives total coverage twice over the top of the sound deadening. From this Click image to enlarge To this Click image to enlarge Also added in another courtesy light for the middle row while everything was out Click image to enlarge And all beck together looking standard apart from the extra light Click image to enlarge I might look out for a black headlining next Thanks for looking Ray Ray My build thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic17615.html |

That is a really good job! I am having the dealership install the third courtesy light as they are sorting out a roof problem under warranty also installing some roof insulation but nothing like the job you are doing! That is top notch! Well done!
