A bit of a roller coaster day yesterday, first the up with these turning up from busboy after his front end revamp.
Click image to enlarge Unfortunately the down came after picking up the nas rear step from the powder coaters Click image to enlarge Stupidly I didn't unwrap it till I got home so it's another hour dropping it back off this morning for them to sort it Gave it a quick test fit to see what needs trimming off the wheel carrier before I loaded it back up. Click image to enlarge Fingers crossed they'll do a better job this time and won't keep me waiting weeks!!! At least I've got a couple of jobs to keep me busy till its ready Ray My build thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic17615.html |

That looks really smart! I asked the dealer I bought my car from how much for a soft A-bar as I think they look "just right" on a Defender - $1800 before tax!!! Plus another $250 for the "fitting kit" whatever that is. Guess I'll be sticking with a plain bumper then |

Thank you That's about $5-800 more than over here I reckon but I suppose you have to factor in shipping/taxes etc. Ray

Far preferred the spots with just the horizontal guards. Just a personal preference. Looking good though

Adjusted the nakatanenga wheel carrier so the nas rear step should fit just a bit of painting and waxing to finish it off.

Just a thought, but I reckon those slim DRLs I have fitted to my front bumper would look great on yours, as long as you have enough gap (283mm) between the A-bar and the end caps. Here is the URL if you are interested... http://www.safetydaylights.com/nz/the-comp...mount.html |
