and seems like no way to put the lock nuts behind the crossmember, any tricks? Thank You Click image to enlarge |

When I originally fitted my bumperettes I fitted the bolts from the rear. I fed fishing line through the rear crossmember taped the bolt to it and pulled it up through the hole. With a long GS screwdriver it will reach in behind you can hold the bolt head secure enough for the nut to get a purchase whereupon you can tighten it fully.
Alternatively just fit rivnuts. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Hi, K9F
How can you taped the bolt to it? Do you mean you use fishing line tight the Lock nut pull out from the hole... |

Tape the thread of the bolt to the fishing line and gently pull the fishing line back out of the hole.....the bolt should follow and eventually the thread of the bolt will come out of the hole. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Yes and no but eventually yes! My bumperettes did not need the two bolts in the white circle removing! I did remove them however when fitting my swingaway carrier which subsequently bolted to the two bolts in the white circle. Not sure but why don't you go and have a look underneath?
**EDIT** Looking at this I do not think they are structural securing bolts but check anyway......your second photo shows them removed anyway...... http://forum.lro.com/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=6557&start=0 If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
