That really me off too! Why not have a 130 special edition! They could have done some fantastic work for the adventure spec Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197 Self confessed mileage hunter |

As has been said already, the Autobiography is just silly and the Adventure could be done by any of us.
The Heritage on the other hand is special, it is a fitting end to an Iconic vehicle. It would get my hard earned if I was looking to invest in a new one. |

I wonder what special Defender you could get if you decided to bank the Autobiography 61k money in a high interest account for a while as it would probably need to grow a little more yet, and sat back and waited to see if something REALLY interesting shows up. Humm

If you bought a std 90 and were given £30k to spend intellegently on the mods you wanted I bet most of us could come up with a much better vehicle than that one.

The Heritage is the only one that partially floats by boat but apart from a few unique bits even that is pretty run of the mill, now if it were in a deep bronze green & limestone combination I might have been tempted. As for the others I think they are overpriced variations on a theme that inevitably will be laden with all the usual faults but folks will buy them simply down to the exclusivity. Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. No radio in the Heritage or lecky windows.
And why put the yellow band on the gear stick? Wasn't the yellow knob for 2 to 4 wheel drive and the red for hi to low range ie both controlling the 4x4 system. So in theory the yellow and red band should be on the leaver that controls the 4x4 system in this case the diff lock and hi and low leaver. |

You'll struggle to beat a bowler 90. Is that the greatest special of all time?? I know a lot will say 50th but they only do 12mpg.
Wonder if you bowler up a red 130?? |

These would look good on the front of the 130 hehe. https://secure.bellautoservices.co.uk/stor...ad-bumper/
I'm sure they would make some special length sills to match the 130 if you wanted |
