Thumbs Up

Whilst I agree that the three end of line specials are nice, quirky and point back to the roots. I still think that its all just bling, you'd have thought that the adventure would have had a few 'overland' features.

So to all the red LR owners, LR don't think it's the colour that best showcases the Defender. Seems grey is there. What does that tell you Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

Not only have they not bother with a RED one they have also left out the 130 Banging Head Banging Head Big Cry Big Cry

LR Germany states the Autobiography arrives in April, followed by the Heritage and Adventure in August.

The German media press release states 30 AB, 500 Heritage and 200 Adventure for Germany, but Autobild magazine web site states 180 Autobiographies, 1653 Heritage and 2277 Adventures - I wonder if that's the grand total?  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

One thing for sure the Phoenix Orange won't be THAT unique as until recently is was the "unique" colour for the Autobiography EVoque and then the FFRR Adventure appeared in the same shade.................. not so special for the run out Defender then. There is also an unpronouncable shade of copper for the Autobiography............... looks distinctly similar to me to the now discontinued Evoque shade Zanzibar (unless the colour rendering on my iPad is no good!). ................. not so common but still a quite popular colour for Evoques Wink
I think the "Heritage Green" isn't for me and Corris isn't that special now so I have changed my Aintree 110XS order for a Yulong White 110 Adventure edition - it actually works out a little cheaper to buy than the specced up 110XS I was after with aftermarket LED headlights and some of the items that the Adventure gets that I would have to go to a retrimer to to have on the XS. So all I'm adding now is the tow pack and winch/ winch bumper and foregoing the gangsta glass. Thanks to Jeremy at Grange Garage I had seen the run out literature before signing on any dotted lines for the Aintree Green 110XS! Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

In the Media Centre News Bulletin it States:

Heritage Edition is available in: Bodystyles: 90 Hard Top, 90 Station Wagon, 110 Utility Wagon, 110 Station Wagon

and the Adventure: Bodystyles: 90 Hard Top, 90 Station Wagon, 100 Utility Wagon, 110 Station Wagon

But there's no mention of the 110 Utility versions of either model in the Price Lists??

Totally underwhelmed by everything - other than the nice colour of the Heritage.

There's almost nothing there that couldn't be done better or for less money by an individual with a little time & energy.

Not what you would expect from a major manufacturer; but then maybe not surprising as LR puts all it's best minds and money into the models that really make the money for them.

Just viewing the official photos - like:

Even more happy now,,, Very Happy Very Happy That the 15MY Wine red, was only for a one off year

Can hear it now from dealers in years to come ,, Rare car in that colour,, don't see many,, most were common dark greens, black and grey's Rolling with laughter

As for headlamps,, Typical Landrover, go for the cheapest they could get !!! Rolling with laughter
Customer will put up with oil leaks, water leaks, iffy diffs and transmissions, dubious build quality, Rust etc etc California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1

Although a good selection, I'm glad I didn't wait for a special and very happy I placed my order for just a normal 90 xs. With a few extras will be my own taste. Shame they didn't do a v8 which most expected. I think I would order a bowler if looking at 50k defenders.

They also say potentially built overseas but surely you wouldn't be able to import one based on the reasons it will no longer be produced in the UK. Emissions, safety etc...? Never imported a car but when looking at it in NZ there were lots of hopps to jump through and it had to comply with latest emission requirements.

To keep it authentic they have done away with air con and brought back to manual vent flaps 😀
