I too have the Scenelite fitted, mine is mounted centrally, ( need to relocate the water jet nozzle) just above the dogs head
Nicely made , warranty back up and seems robust , impressively bright and very low power draw, so can happily be left on for extended periods. I have mine switched above the rear door, in between the two grabs handles, and also a switch on the dash for using whilst reversing if needed. There are a couple of different types of lights (LED or filament) which could be used and a vast range of different lights varying from about a tenner up to a few hundred pounds.
So a few points to consider. IP rating say IP67 so it is reasonably storm proof. If just use as a reversing light with engine running yes filament will be fine, if used for long periods of time especially with engine off then LED is the way to go. One or two extra lights, adjustable angle or fixed?. Two adjustable lights will give a broader spread of light then one or two fixed. Light output? If just used as reversing lights you could have two lighthouse bulbs as long as use does not dazzle other drivers. If used as work lights/camp lights you do not want them too bright as if you look at them directly you will be 'blinded' so no mega large mega bright LED light bars. Brendan |

Can you show us how these look lit up and how things look when the lights are on? Thinking of going this route as well then probably wire them up to a 3 way switch so they can either turn on with reverse, or just normal reverse, or just on when not in reverse. Thanks. |

My pics above of the Grey 90 are of the same light, mine is black Hans has the White ones.
The LEDs are actually set in a slight radius, so they have a large footprint, hence sold/suggested as a scene light rather than a more specific focused or narrower footprint. |

So I take it that HansT's set up will give a wider arc of illumination? Will it be necessarily be brighter? Now that I think about it, I think wiring them up to a factory switch on the panel and using them when needed is more appropriate and less complicated. Looks like it's almost time to ring up my local Mud distributor... |

A friend of mine here has this mud light installed on the right hand top corner of the roof. Very, very good light output, even by a single unit.
As I have the famous live purple wire in the loom behind the right hand side interior rear panel (which all Pumas up to/including model year 2011 have) I am thinking of buying such a black Mud light too, with an easy connection to a on/off button in the rear interior panel next to my aux 12V power socket. An additional advantage of this mud lamp (at least for me ) is that it is mounted fixed and quite flush with the rear of the truck, so that my car wash will not dislocate it as it would do with any other classical work lamp.

These are on my wish list, ill be getting the full tail compliment giving dual fog and dual reverse. Combined with the work lights( in the garage in their boxes waiting fitment...still) I'm sure ill have no trouble seeing behind me, also llooking at fitting a camera so I can load the trailer alone
