Safety Devices 90 Roll Cage Question
I am looking to buy the Safety Devices 138/7 (external front to internal B pillar loop) roll cage and am going to be brave/reckless and fit it myself.

My question to anyone who already has one of these is, what are the pieces circled in red below? Are they horizontal tubes running inside the rear, over the wheel-arch/below the window-line or are they under the rear tub, under the wheel-arch - or maybe something else completely?!

Basically, can anyone describe what they are or better still, provide a photo? I have a Lock and Fold seat in the rear and want to understand how this would affect any cage I am thinking about buying.

If anyone has a copy of the installation instructions - those would be great too!

Can't help you with your actual question but echo the OPs suggestion - SD are very helpful and will supply installation documents prior to purchasing. I wanted to fit a different cage that wasn't recommended for my model and they even supplied me annotated pictures from one that had already been done.

I have spoken to SD but visualising the written instructions is not especially easy so was hoping a forum member could summarise SD's pages of text into simple photo or a simplified explanation... Phil

Out of interest, did you ask for photos or speak to one of the engineers? They provided me with lots of info - surprised you've not had the same response.

To satisfy your interest Thon - no I didn't which would perhaps have been obvious by the fact I posted the original question.

Thanks for the idea though - I'll be sure to ring them if I draw a blank from helpful forum members. Thumbs Up Phil
