Back from Dealer clutch needs bleeding and i'v been told all will be well.
Also i was told the dong type noise from the diff there is a bulletin on it the flange needs to have some sort of stud lock or silicon on it to stop the movement, where the prop meets the diff on a nut NEVER TAKE LIFE SERIOUSLY. NOBODY GETS OUT ALIVE ANYWAY |

Chui the latest on the diff dong is there is now a bulletin on it, It needs some sort off stud lock or silicon on a nut/ flang where the prop meets the diff because there is movement, say if you put it in revers and then forward you get this dong NEVER TAKE LIFE SERIOUSLY. Interested to hear how you get on fekete. I too had a new clutch and flywheel in June. A little smoother but still not quite right. Also had new transfer box fitted last month which eliminated judder when coming to a halt. Still have clunk on power take up so please let me know if the stud lock/silicone on the propshaft/diff resulted in an improvement.

My Landy had no clonk until 8000km. Now 21kkm. Assuming the clonk comes from the TB is there still a design problem on this unit? IŽll get a new one soon so I was thinking on adding right away some MoS based additive.
Today on the highway after driving a while I came to a stop so I shifted to neutral and and while the rig was still moving (quite slow, 5 km/h or so) I heard a quite strange rattle coming from under the floor......Like some gears did not like each other. Again I put 2nd and did the same thing (going neutral) and the rattle was gone. Any ideas? The new clutch has 4000 km from new. thanks MK Puma 110" SW ............................................................. Earth first. Other planets later |
