Keeps the flies off apparently ngarigo
Been out last two days in these heavy downpours were having - good test for any leaks. I wouldn't say it would float if you threw it in the sea but all was dry inside which was a nice surprise... |

Friday was a afternoon out (even though not in the Defender).... so if ok with you guys:
What did you do in your girlfriends Feroza today Friday was the usual day in work... in at 0630 and a trip to do some PAT testing at the other end of the island- how boring. But come 1330 and work finished for the weekend we decided to head out to the Sub-Aqua club. The sun was out so we decided to take swimming kit and mask/snorkel. I gave the gf a guided tour of the club reserve: Click image to enlarge FISH Click image to enlarge Fire Engine Click image to enlarge Helicopter (Prize if someone can name the type). Click image to enlarge The GF trying to touch it- not much luck as it is 7m under, lol. Followed by a little off-road.... where we came accross this whilst crossing over a few tracks: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Blunt nose viper...... a bit eaten!!! It is breeding season so there are quite a few about and they aren't very tolerant. The Station Warrant Officer has lost one of his dogs to one- all his fault though- who lets their dog free to snoop around in bushes on the bondu during snake breeding season Glyn :sheep: Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

So true. Even though I am a die-hard green oval fan I am very surprised at the little 4x4. Considering it doesn't have any diff locks it goes many places the Defender will- it just doesn't have the same feel though. 20 years old, 240,000 miles on the clock and it still pulls like a trooper with no problems in the last 6 months. When I used to help marshal the Pay and Play days at the local quarry one turned up that was going to the scrapyard the next week, so it was basically brought up to be killed. It endured six hours of constant abuse, and it was still alive by the end of the day. Click image to enlarge Tough little . |

Is that (was) a Rocky? If so, very capable 4x4. Bit unstable though. Puma 110" SW
