wet floor :(
right i thought i had cured it but its back again if it has been raining or even when i wash the 90 i go to jump in and there is a puddle of water on the floor mat i thought it was the door seals so took them off inspeted they seem fine a pushed them up nice and tight and pinched the metal inside with pliers to make sure they stay up. i was washing the 90 today took the carpets out and the drivers carpet is drenched actually dripping off of it, from what it looks like the rain water is dripping down the bulkhead onto the accelerator pedal has anyone had this problem before and found out what it was i noticed a little crack in the sealent were the windowscreen frame meets the roof could be that Question

Hit download on the far right once the page loads.
See if you can find the problem and solution in there

I had water dripping on my accelerator pedal too. Turns out land Rover put a few too many holes in the footwell and just covered them with tape. My tape came off and i got a leak when the water finds its way inside the bonnet and down the bulk head. Sometimes when it rained it got wet but every time i washed it with the hosepipe it managed to find its way in. I fixed it with a self adhesive puncture repair patch about 5 years ago and its still there.

Its worth looking for uncovered holes in the footwells on both sides while your at it. If you dont have air con there will be a rather large one in the passenger side!!

Pete.

Try having a careful look at the black sponge foam stuff that seals between the bulkhead and the windscreen. ON my car it had perished and was allowing water to leak into the footwells. I dug it out and repalced with sealant. All dry now Thumbs Up

I thought this was a specific landrover design - wet footwells

I think every landrover I have had has had a leak somewhere, this one only has one on passenger floor so I thought I was doing pretty well.

Impressed that many of you are leak free.

I obviously need to try & find the holes Embarassed 2020 P300 HSE

water also tracks in via the rear washer pipes which come through the bulk head access by removing the n/s speaker and sorted with dum dum.

As mentioned before via the heater with water blocked in the heater box(blocked teet). 2.4 90 XS

digging up a old thread but its started to leak again same spot Big Cry so i decided to pull it in the back and take the hinge off and also the end dash section, after getting the torch out i could see that it was getting through the foam in between the bulkhead and window screen frame just as amondeggs suggested Thumbs Up, im going to get some of the sealent gasket much like silicone build it up in there and finish it off with a nice top layer of black sealant Thumbs Up

There's such a sense of accomplishment when one stops a leak - "man make fire, man stay dry" Laughing Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...
