This is actually a real story..
I work for a big international company and a few months back I find an email from the IT team stating that they looked at my browsing history (?) and found something disturbing and I should contact them on this telephone number etc. I am not stupid (I maintain a private PC) so just I ignored it - like I do with most corporate emails. Found out later from a colleague that on the ship he is working they rounded up the crew and one by one the guys started confessing to all sorts of online seediness... only for management to find that it was a FISHING training exercise by the IT department... Oops. Sometimes the training exercises are just a bit too realistic for comfort. |
