There are definitely a lot more CCF’s viewable with the G4 unit. As of yet, I have not tried to change anything. Will know more after the weekend.

I can’t follow which option I need to select from the G4 exchange web page to exchange my 3 month old G3 in Australia. I’ve emailed support to figure it out.

New G4
Just received my G4. Has anyone successfully activated Adaptive Cruise Control? If so, would you mind sharing the modules and selections?

ACC with G4 works
Hi folks.

I got my exchanged G4 two days ago and was able to activate ACC on my MY23.5 D250 XS

EUCD-023 Cruise Control
Standard: Without cruise control
Changed to: Adaptive Cruise Control Stop & Go

MultiCAN-580 PTCruiseFitment
Standard: Normal cruise fitted
Changed to: ACC with Queue Assist fitted

MultiCAN-809 ACC Stop Gap Setting
Standard: Not fitted
Change to: Fitted

MultiCAN-712 ACC Lead Car Dist Disp
Standard: Fitted
Changed to: Fitted
* this was already set on my car

I also set these parameters, cause I read about it somewhere.
But what does this really it do?

MultiCAN-753 Adaptive Prog Mode
Standard: Not fitted
Changed to: Fitted

And I found other settings, which are listed as unsupported,
but sounded intresting to ACC.
Perhaps some defaults to set in the PIVI – but did not find anything yet

?MultiCAN-712 MultiCAN-712 ACC Stop Gap Select
?Standard: Not supported
?Changed to: Fitted

?MultiCAN-712 ACC Accel Profile Select
?Standard: Not supported
?Changed to: Fitted

In the "activation session" the tool was not able to clear 2 faults, which popped up with DADC.
But after letting the car sit alone for lunchtime, I was able to clear the faults with the tool

ACC now works fine ....

Great work GAP-Team Thumbs Up

l've had a reply from GAP

The unit has to be sent back to them
in Canada for the upgrade replacement scheme.

l assume most people know this already but just in case anyone doesn't.

Can anyone tell me the procedure to activate the "more accurate speedometer" using G4 tool as in the U.K. it's set to read 3-4 mph high.

Using my G3 tool
lf l just change it to +1 mph it doesn't change the cruise control so that still reads high. lf you change the other settings to reset the cruise control, the vehicle comes up with an error on the screen and defaults to 2wd with various safety systems inoperative

The procedure should be the same, and the G4 should reset the DADC.

Re: ACC with G4 works
Thumbs Up ACC works like a charm. Thank you!

What else is now available with the G4? Self park and ATPC2?

Supposedly, but apparently self-parking is not certain? Maybe just for UK, but "the jury is still out"...

Mine came with ACC, maybe required? The one report above says they're likely missing hardware. We'll see shortly.

My guess is that they dumbed down Defenders that are delivered in GB, maybe just "commercial" spec?

Self Park doesn't work on my 2024 110.

Same as other people have had... all menus seem to work, but parking won't start.

Note: I am not in the UK.

How are you people sending your unit back. I’ve struggling to find a commodity code for the item and if you put gift and value of €5 as advised then you can’t insure it for it’s value.
How are you guys doing it?
