7 years on the website has changed, so here's the current URL for the relay: https://www.mudstuff.co.uk/products/defend...&_ss=r |

Just search for "Volkswagen Wiper Relay 99". Plenty of offers new and used.

During some light winter maintenance I tried to unblock my front washer jets. A needle didn’t help and in fact only made it worse. I used some compressed air (dust/air in a can) and sprayed directly into the nozzle. This worked an absolute treat and cleared both with easy using only a few seconds of air. Both worked fine for a short while….
I remember recalling the sound of air escaping in the bonnet during the clearing but assumed it was a straight feed to the pump and was probably some sort of expansion valve. The system is now best described as ‘limp’. I haven’t seen any washer fluid leaking underneath, nor is the washer bottle empty. I wonder if I have blown the non-return Thanks for any advice or possible areas to check for damage. |

Well, I used the Pierburg too but had to change it also after one year. Why? See picture. It seems there is a difference between water and diesel or petrol
