l've noticed that my speedometer over reads by about 3mph at 70 mph, according to my GPS.
This would be useful then.

Why would they set the speedometer to over read?

I would say that just about every car that I've had the speedo over-read they do this to ensure that they comply with the law and make sure that their speedometers are never showing less than true speed under any foreseeable circumstances, car manufacturers will normally deliberately calibrate their speedos to read 'high' by a certain amount.

I always set my ACC to the speed limit plus 2mph so in a 40 limit I would set the ACC to 42 Thumbs Up Cheers Ian

Spot on HD. Construction and Use regs require manufacturers to set speedos within the range plus 10% to minus 0%. This means speedos will always over read. Manufacturers I suspect have used this to their cost advantage to fit cheaper inaccurate speedos. It also fools customers into thinking how smooth and quiet cars are when in fact they are not going as fast as they think they are! As one example in the bike world, I’ve ridden brand new Yamaha FJR1300 Blood Bikes, with digital speedos, that are 10% fast throughout the range. Pretty poor in this day and age.

Got my IID tool up and running
Have already added the 007 splash screen, walk up / away locking, Wi-Fi hot spot, open tailgate with fob and dynamic mode so far (love the red dials).
Would like the ACC when it’s sorted.
Has anyone been able to get the car to remember last drive mode. MY23 XS 110 D250

I took it to mean if you had the car in say dynamic it would remember it after switching the car off. Cheers Ian

I find it odd what the car remembers and what it doesn’t. This once certainly should be remembered. My car retains the setting for mute for the navigation voice prompts, but forgets that I set the voice feedback accent to English (UK), it always reverts back to US.

It remembers your setting for the auto shutoff when stopping at a light, etc So, if the auto shutoff was on, it will remember that next time you use the car.

Oh I see you mean stop/start setting MultiCAN-566 MHLastUserMode, we thought you'd found a way for the car to remember the drive mode you were in eg Eco/Comfort/Dynamic etc Thumbs Up Cheers Ian

Sorry for the confusion. Alas, I have not seen anything that allows keeping the drive mode from the prior setting.

Successfully enabled Configurable TR on my 2021 D300 SE. It was reluctant to show up on screen, even after running the learn config procedure and letting the car sit double-locked overnight I still had to force-reboot Pivi Pro. Showed up in the end though.

Thanks to all who helped discover and share these options!
