The Exmoor muff rolls upwards. Doesn't this one flop down over the intercooler or does it roll too? You can get these ones in Germany Cheers Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

I have a britpart one on mine, cheap and does the job. To mount it they supplied m5 screws and spring nuts. You can get them from paddock spares 2004 TD5 Defender 90 xs station wagon

This one?
http://www.paddockspares.com/da2161black-r...black.html I might ask about how its mounted, I usually avoid britpart, but at least a rad muff can't leak oil and isn't safety-critical. 2011 110 USW 1973 Series III 1-Ton 1972 Series III 1-Ton Cherrypicker 1969 IIA 1-Ton 1966 IIA 88" |

I think we might just invest in one of those then. Am also looking for a heater intake snow cover but the prices are laughable... 2011 110 USW 1973 Series III 1-Ton 1972 Series III 1-Ton Cherrypicker 1969 IIA 1-Ton 1966 IIA 88" |

I have the exmoor trim one and only use it when needed as it only takes a couple of mins to put on. As I am about 10mls from my workplace and 5 of them miles is motorway, the Puma heats up quickly enough in the winter time. It is when I am sitting in a traffic jam/ waiting for the missus that the puma cools down very quickly hence the need for the cover which lives under the rear seats.
PS, note to self........ fit the Eberspacher heater before the springtime Brian. |

Just for your information i would like to add that the temp needle shows `normal` from around 70 degrees till 96.
I have my scangauge permanent on and monitor temps especially when towing. With 35 degree summers and -15 winters quite interesting info to have. With temps around freezing i noticed i need about 3x the summer distance to be at anything above 80 degrees.around 5kms of good driving. As already mentioned in slow traffic the puma has no chance heatingup. Btw thermostat opens around 74 degrees, not the old 85 value on a puma. So i'll need a radmuff also when temps start dropping. |

Er... what happens if one forgets to open it after driving a while?
Will there be some warning before the rad explodes? Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |
