I'd use a wire brush and then loads of WD40 and more wire brushing, then more WD40, let it penetrate fully 2016 D4 HSE

Sort wheel wobble (SORTED)

Turns out that one wheel on the front was 140g out of balance, and the other was 190g out, thats what was causing the wobble

Build tool box/speaker box
Fit rear seats
Sound proof rear van sides and roof.
Fit replacement seats with risers
Replace front bumper
Paint roof
Paint roof rack

Go easy pressure washing your swivels and blasting grit up into the seals.

Their are two trains of thought on swivels. Those that oil/grease the balls to reduce corrosion and those that leave them dry so grit/dirt doesn't stick to the ball and get under the seal making it abrasive.

I have found a new form of sound deadening, 250kg of logs in the back, made a massive difference I could actually hear the radio on the way home.

On a separate note, should I get rid of the roof rack. I dont use it! Idea Question

Started the engine bay tidy up today, the I think the intercooler pipe is leaking so that was the first job.

I chopped up the old IC pipe and added some new samco bends, and some new ally pipe, its a bit close to the alternator but with a bit of jiggling I should be able to move it away. I think thats where all the oil is coming from, but not sure, I think the dodgy welds don't help. there was not an alarming amount of oil in the pipe but if its under pressure I am guessing its spraying all over the place.

Just the IC top hose to sort and some new belts, and a few more blue hoses.

Note the IC top hose is held on with cable ties not jubilee clips
