Has anyone worked out how to turn off the bongs when you open the door, or don’t have a seat belt on?

Or for the latter is there another way to turn off auto Hold without going through the menu as it’s a bit of a liability when off road.

And, has the driving mode bit been resolved so that if you turn the car off on Grass Gravel Snow, when you come to turn it on it will remain in GGS?

MultiCAN754 AutoTRProgMode 0x02 change to Fitted

Gets me the auto button on the pivi screen but also the emergency brake fault Big Cry

There is also another setting for Auto which is

EUCD129 TERRAIN RESPONSE FITMENT 0x13

Change to Auto Terrain Response Dynamic & Configurable Dynamic Mode

but that doesn't make any difference to the brake error or give you the button so may not be connected Thumbs Up

thanks Ian for the terrain configurable upgrade,
I edited the ccf as you said and got the screen after two resets of the pivi.
I also tried to enable the Auto mode, but when I turn it on again, an error appears that I have already seen other times in configurations, traction only at 2WD.

later I deleted AUTO, everything worked.

Anyway very nice ....... thank you very much
Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Does someone know whether it’s possible to turn the Adblue system off so the engine will still start without that brew?

It’ll give you some peace of mind when doing longer off-road trips.

Is this still in beta? Where is the place to order these from in the UK and if still in beta can you still join the beta program?

What is meant by a locking fuel cap. Don’t they all Lock?

Would be interested to see if I could enable approach unlocking on my 2023 defender with the gap tool

My GAP IID Tool arrived a couple days ago. Read the manual and registered. So far have set the 007 welcome, walk up unlock, walk away lock, auto stop disable, and seat belt warning disable. Work great and is very easy to use. The list earlier in the thread is very helpful as well. Thank you all who have contributed.

As for the locking gas cap no the do not all have this. Mine as an example has a push open and push close door with a non locking filler cap can just be removed. I would guess based on your reply that yours does lock? If so it sounds like the unlock and lock option may not work for you. But again I am very new to this as well so may be mistaken. Just going off what others have posted previously.

If you lock your car then go to the fuel flap door and see if it's locked or can be opened. If it hasn't locked you can probably change the following settings and you 'may' get it to work

MultiCAN-505
Change it to Current: Enabled

MultiCAN-807 Approach Unlocking
from: Disabled
to: Enabled
Thumbs Up Cheers Ian

I have actually changed mine back to disabled. I have my key in my pocket most of the time and whenever i'm anywhere near my car it unlocks and then again locks... That can't be good for the actuators and it bugs me, so now it's just walk away locking. Because sometimes I forget! MY23.5 SE Defender

Advanced Towing
I have been through this entire thread twice and made lots of notes but seem to be missing the CCF’s specific to advanced tow. Does anyone have the specifics on turning this one? I have ATPC already so based on what I have read it should work if I turn it on. Sorry if I missed it but again am just hoping someone has the specifics on this. Thanks.

In my notes I have

MultiCAN579 TowAssist 0x02

Change to

Tow Assist 2

But I haven't been able to test it personally as I haven't got a trailer here, let us know if it works Thumbs Up Cheers Ian

Hi all,

Thanks for all the info in this thread. Got the IID tool a few days ago and I'm trying to change some stuff on my 75th Smile P400e

Looking for info regarding this:
• Auto brake hold. After standing on the brake at the traffic light for about a minute or so sometimes autohold engages. Even if it's turned off in the settings menu.
• Shut off with running engine when opening the drivers door. I find this very annoying and would like to car to keep "running" (as you can speak of "running" with an P400e.. )
• There's supposed to be a "camping" settings in which the rear door doesn't trigger/wakes the car, thus saving you battery from draining when repeatedly opening and closing without running the engine on let's say a campsite... No clue what CCF settings to look for.

Also found this option in the CCF file:
• EUCD-247 Off Road Navigation
Should I enable this and see what happens or is that a bad idea?

Do you guys have more info about these settings?

Cheers,

Jasper
