Hi ardevd,
General diagnostics are not VIN locked, only special programming functions such as EAS and CCF, etc.

You can perform all diagnostic functions on all vehicles your IIDTool covers. Please be aware that due to it's hardware, the G4 will not function on the 02-09 L322.

Have tried ACC on my wife's Defender, and although I have all functionality, I now have an Adaptive Speed Limited (feature not available) fault. Has anybody else come across this, or have any ideas as to the issue? I only changed those items listed previously:

EUCD 023
Multican 580
Multican 809
Multican 712

All other mods (dynamic, ATPC, back door release etc) no issues at all. Cheers Marc

Activation code
Im struggling to get the activation code for my new G4, could be an old age thing starting but I can’t remember it being overly complicated getting the IID Tool to work on the discovery.

Any advice most welcome

Chris. MY24 X-Dynamic HSE D250 110, Santorinis Black, Matrix LED headlights, Dark grey cross car beam, Air suspension, HUD, Secure Tracker pro, Wheel arch protection, Deployable tow bar.

I did dynamic mode and config TR. Also found how to do auto settings and that also seems to work.

I can't do ATPC. First I got Emergency braking warning. That went away. But I can't do the double push on the button to activate it.

Does anyone have the codes for ATPC? Thanks.

Question:
G4 should arrive tomorrow.

Wanting to add adaptive cruise, TR2, Config TR, ATPC and Dynamic Mode.

Are any of the above dependant on the rear locking diff? My Defender doesn’t have one and I just want to be sure.

Do you mean the stop/start function where the engine stops while you are stationary? You can set it to remember the selection.

So you turn it off with the button on the console and it stays off, you don't have to turn it off every time you use the vehicle.

Park Assist
Played with the new G4 unit on my 2023.5 110X yesterday. I was able to enable to active the park assist with the CCF configuration has been posted here earlier.

EUCD-059 Parking Assistance PDC (Front, Rear) - Parking (Parallel, Exit)
EUCD-099 Park Assist Camera With Park Assist Camera
EUCD-140 Pdcautoactivationmenu With PDC Auto Activation Menu
MultiCAN-469 PDCAutoActivation Default off configuarable
MultiCAN-500 PDCBtnFCIM Fitted
MultiCAN-602 PDC 10 Channel fitted (Park Assist)
MultiCAN-786 Park Assist Full Auto VarD (Fully automated park assist with automated steering breaking accelaration and gears)

the system actives and finds parking spot without any issues. BUT, the "start" button was greyed out, cannot be pressed on the touch screen. So, cannot get the park assist work, same as other members have reported earlier.

No, if your not in the car but want to leave it running. After a lenght of time it switches itself off.
