If it's anything like the Puma it'll have two side locking tabs, if you can get to the rear and push them in they should release.
Or if it's got a 4 hole key pattern on the front buy ISO DIN. keys, they are under a £5. You can make your own, but often not strong enough and not even worth the hassle. TheThunderRolls🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

I would imagine it's the BMW connector which has a strange slide and lock type connector.
The outer piece slides to one side which unlocks and partially removes the plug ![]() 1990 Vogue SE Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 Td5 90 Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic50767.html Tdi 110 Thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic69562.html RRC Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic54492.html Instagram http://www.instagram.com/george_grafton |

I remember having similar problems with mine nearly 10 years ago. I ended up removing the whole section around the radio and manually operating the release mechanism.
I'm sure it was obvious, but only once I'd ripped the whole thing apart. |

Mud stuff sell the adaptor you need but it's basically an older BMW radio connector. I'm sure Halfords would have it
