Marius, up until my last tank of fuel (at just over 11000kms) I have been averaging 10.4ltrs pr 100kms. I only went as high as 13ltrs per 100kms when I was towing my Xplorer caravan.
My last tank of fuel I achieved 9.8ltrs per 100kms. Mostly driving in traffic around Johannesburg and I have roof rack etc. Your consumption will get better. If not have it checked by the dealer. |

Mine is sitting at 10-11l/100km, city:open in 50-50 mix. Has been like this since Day 1, now it has 15600km on the clock, engine is loosening up nicely. Worst was 14 when fully laden driving into a gale-force thunderstorm.
I would suggest using some diesel injector cleaner every 2000km or so to keep your injectors clean, and if you suspect poor quality diesel. I also change the oil every 10,000km and after every long trip into dusty conditions. -- 2010 Defender Puma 90 + BAS remap + Alive IC + Slickshift + Ashcroft ATB rear 2015 Range Rover Sport V8 Supercharged Defender Puma Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zZ1en9 Discovery 4 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zXrtKO Range Rover/Sport L320/L322/L494 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zc58JQ |

59 plate DCPU 110 16k miles no tune MTR tyres and last two tanks have given 27 & 28mpg rural driving with lots of hills. I was quite surprised as I expected a lot less, we plan to look at the car with Pete BAS (when I go through to work on my 90) and see why at the moment its running smoothly and giving good MPG Original Member Pie n Pea Club.

Did some calculations in my head on a longish trip at the weekend - very low 20s at best. For a 122bhp vehicle. And top rate VED.
Did someone say the words "modern" in the same sentence as "efficient?" Thought not. Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion. |

Willys right, it won't last, used to get 370 out of a tank. Now average about 330 in round numbers!
