Rude not to Great photos from the show! Love those Mini's! I have to say I keep seeing the D5 and it is growing on me! From feeling a bit iffy when it was released the more I see it the more I like it. The idea is fab, but it looks like there might be some cutting involved. For that price I'd have preferred a complete piece for the grey part, and a separate piece for the black part, much like the original, rather than all the shadow gaps. Better position certainly, but given JLR are moving towards fewer and fewer joins, this 'upgrade' is a backwards step on the flush finish of the original. Somebody will do a better one, no doubt even more expensive. Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

Judging Gerry McGovern by his dress style, I hold my breath for what the new Defender style will look like.
Scary to walk around in such a clown suit, but of course, that is seen through Swiss eyes, not British. After seeing him here, I’m going to call him Mr. Pompous from now on. As said, just scary. Indeed, not even a hint about a new Defender, but hearing how they all talk, seems their focus is on a totally different segment. Eric You never actually own a Defender. Don't be so dismissive, Eric. We British are perfectly capable of seeing him for what he is Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? You're braver than I thought!" - Princess Leia |

For me this clip was an eye opener. You really have to see that to believe it.

It's a tiny, albeit worrying detail. A British born, Britain based, head of design for a British company who cannot pronounce the English version of the word properly, ironically with the spelling on the numberplate of the display model he is standing by actually having an accent over the final e: é. £250k apparently! One can trust a man in a cravat (especially if David Niven). Click image to enlarge One can trust a man in a well tailored suit (especially if David Niven). One cannot trust a man wearing a cravat with a dark grey pinstripe suit, even if well tailored, and even if David Niven. No doubt he was sporting brown suede shoes, which as we all know is an absolute no no with a dark grey business suit, or indeed any suit of any material or colour if worn within the city limits of any overseas city, or if in the Home Counties, East of Ascot. I fear he'll be cutting about in a 3-piece tweed today, which is tantamount to sacrilege within an Urban context. Car designer he maybe, master of sartorial rules and regulations he ain't. Finally, it goes without saying that for any true, red blooded Englishman with the intention to assassinate the President of the French Republic, a cravat is a must. I might sport one today just to get the Gendarmes in a fluster and keep Macron on his toes Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |
