112,000 but it's yearly service, and MOT cleaned me out for a grand. All started with the EML light coming on and no throttle response on the A1 in the Scottish Borders 2 weeks ago got the recovery wagon out.
Couple of hundred to fix the electrical problem , and I knew there was gonna be another couple of hundred quids worth of jobs + service. Not a grand tho Good job it's my favourite. 2001 Td5 CSW (weekend and snow mobile) Plenty of lights, M/T tyres EGR delete, roofrack, swing away wheel carrier, snorkel. 2016 E220 CDI Night Edition Estate 2014 VW UP! 2x D3 and 1x D4 GONE |

5 years later from first thread...now on 120000!
Still love driving it, had to spend some money on bits/bobs but not modifications as I prefer her standard. This is the highest mileage vehicle I have owned in 30 years of driving (that says something about the defender bug!!). I think defenders are now part of my DNA |

2002 TD5 110 with 73K on the clock.
New calipers all round, a new exhaust back box, and a couple of new batteries (first replaced under guarantee). Otherwise just regular servicing. The radiator has just started to weep at the back and I'll replace it before the winter. |
