Check clutch adjustment and change the box oil would be my starting choices.

You can try to reset the bias springs on both sides of the shifter tower. Normal wear and being out of adjustment often causes hard engagement of gears.

If it's ok with the engine stopped and not with it running it will be clutch or spigot bearing.

I had that problem for a long time in combination with a terrible nose. Typical spgot bearing but I had the clutch, flywheel etc replaced at the same time since the mileage was 180 000 km. The noise is gone and it is easy to select gear.

Sound like the clutch is not releasing properly. There are a number of possible causes for this. I would check: 1. Fluid level in clutch master cylinder. If OK, it is still possible that there is air in the system, particularly as you are not sure of the vehicle's history. Try bleeding the clutch. If low, check the hydraulic line & both master & slave cylinders for leaks. 2. Check the pedal adjustment. There should be a small amount of play in the pedal (5mm or so). If excessive, you will need to check adjustment in the pedal box under the bonnet. 3. By your description of no noises or no slipping, it is less likely that the clutch unit itself is causing the problem. Cheers, Lionel |

Very easy, I just adjusted the master cylinder a little bit, now is very smooth

Nice result!
i had very similar issues but it turned out to be a combination of pedal height/ m/cyl adjustment and turret adjustment. |
