Will run a chain lock through the wheel. Im afraid thatโs the only security available for these wheels.

That looks good but I'd be concerned about added weight, mine is heavy enough as it is.
If you do run any lock though it like a cable type, make sure all areas of it in contact with the finished surface are protected with a soft neoprene or foam or similar or you could easily find the paint surface damaged. Most have a splatic finish but even then it's not really soft as such. No Guts, No Glory.

Iโm thinking something like this. At home I have a U lock on my bike. Will try that to fit otherwise will get one of these.

Yeah, that's the type I have got on the shelf ready to fit sometime.
I'd fit something like this over the top: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-Black-MTB-Bi...Swv7pbzYN- Obviously check internal dia but that sort of thing would protect the wheel surfaces from abrasion.[/url] No Guts, No Glory.

Fitted a new radio
Quality metal front and dials - looks good and is in keeping with Landy - not too flash Click image to enlarge Excellent DAB reception - even with the original Aerial Very good BlueTooth for audio streaming Very quick phone pairing and quality sound for phone calls Click image to enlarge Also bought a pair of Mud A Pillar Trim - to allow more room for routing cables - and installed the external phone mike into the top Click image to enlarge Fitted the GPS under the plastic wing top cover - good satellite reception Click image to enlarge I know the screen is small for SatNav - but if you listen to the commands you don't need to watch the screen - I have a large dash mounted SatNav for when I need more detail or when using MemoryMaps I also know its expensive but I am not going to justify the purchase any more than I need to justify owning a Defender |

Order arrived from JGS
Replaced the viscous fan Started looking at the hard start from cold. (not been started since Friday after coming home from work & briefly started last night morning eve) Checked glow plugs all measured between 1.6kohms and 1.9kohms from the tip to a earth wire. Pulled on plug and tested - glowed red for a good 20-25mm from the tip. Will check the others tomorrow but suspect they are OK. 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |
