Pete's upgrade transform the Puma, are re-mappable at any time and the after service from him is second to none.
Just about the best thing that you could give your Landie. Apart from Julia Roberts..... |

Petes re-map tool, before you take it into LR put it back to standard then once they have carried out all the software updates, it shimples, re-map it again!
Not sure if you understand, but basically Petes box allows you to tune it when and where you want, numerous times. 2019 MY Disco 5 HSE Lux Audi A4 Avant 3.0L TDI Quattro - WOW 2016 90 Adventure |

Just had my 90 re-mapped at the weekend and it's made a huge difference to drivability.
Cheviot 4x4 (North Shields) have an tie-in with Bell's Auto Services and did the work for me, whilst also fitting some tree sliders. Great service, very thorough, everything checked and re-checked before they'd let me go. Drove down from Aberdeen on Friday and returned on Saturday. At the same avaerage speed of 70 mph, on the same road my fuel economy improved by 4.3 mpg (that's 28.7 - 33). Overtaking between 60-70 mph is simply a matter of putting your foot down now - no need for planning with military precision to get passed that HGV anymore! Thoroughly recommended mod....... |

what about upgrading the turbo slightly larger and intercooler slightly larger then give the computer a tune on the dyno machine,
or you could change the gearing inside the differentials to 3.73:1 giveing a better take off again. the defender should have a v6 twin turbo diesel engine idealy, thats my opinion or modification and my idea(c) |

My vote goes to BAS as well, really improves the 110 (had it on both the new one and the old one) without doubt!
Great after service too. |

Hi
I have checked the BAS site and things are not entirely clear, at lesat to me. First, there is no mention of the performance improvement. Second, what happened if the dealer makes an upgrade on the ECU which has already been tuned? Does the performance upgrade remains or does one has to send the file to BAS for upgrading again? Thanks |

My 110 jsut went in for some work and while it was there they downloaded a ecu up grade. All I did was to use the BAS box to read the new down load and email it to BAS and he emailed me back the new tuned file within an hour. I then simply downloaded it back into the ecu. It is back at the dealers on Monday for some more work and before it goes I will put it back to standard (which takes less than 5 minutes).
It pushes out more power than I need but what sells it to me is that I get better mpg than when I run it on standard tune (every bit counts). Boy |

It doesn't smoke after the remap
Pete is great to work with and his BAS box works very well, even from half a world away. I would fully recommend him and his BAS box. |
