Do you mean Land Rover are actually 'recalling' all the potentially affected vehicles for rectification? I've not heard a thing.

Well thats true: Sump and brake pipes were not a recall in the sense of the bulletin (were posted as SSM if I remember well).

But was something quite similar to it: calls to the owners to book the car to do the work as soon as possible despite that didnt show any damage, etc. (at least that happens with the sump here in Chile).

Cheers Eduardo

that does not sound right - The PUMA has a solid flywheel and is not dual mass. Even the TD5 dual mass flywheel does not have any oil damping.

Yes they were - i was telephoned by the 2 dealers - the one i brought it off and the one that services it, it was done at its first service, there were recalls. Mike

Interesting. So has anyone else had their dealer ring up and request that the vehicle be returned for recall work?

Seen that ages ago. Never received a recall notice on the Puma though, I've had to ask for everything that has been done (sump, clutch etc).

Bit of a delayed response, but ive had to have another clutch fitted (3rd one in 15000 miles). i picked it up wednesday last week all good. then on sunday the rear n/s indicator stoped working, simple fix you would think....... oh no landrover have had to replace 2 ft of wire within the loom because it had rotten away!!! Ive just picked it up today and looked at the repair (what a joke), they have left all the loom wide open and unsecure. another repair that needs repair.

Ive also been informed that landrover have started to release the ecu update again, but im holding off until they can confirm it will solve problems and not make more.
