Some more bits arrived today.

I'll see how long the hinges stay tight and if they don't last I'll get some of the orp ones. The old door waist seals were past their best Laughing

The new ones were described as oem but aren't exactly the same and needed some trimming here and there to fit but it looks tidier than before Thumbs Up
Thanks for looking, all comments welcome. Ray

I went for the YRM Safari Door Hinges as the ORP ones were a little too far off OEM. Three letter abreviations don't you just love 'em?

Laughing I just don't like the setup of the original hinges as they just seem too easy to wear out but with the wheel carrier now taking the weight of the spare I hopefully won't have the sagging problem anymore and maybe not on the car door either Rolling with laughter

Edit: I'd have to get the orp ones painted if I got them so they didn't stick out as much. Ray

Fitted the new hinges and the stainless nakatanenga bolts today.

I knew the old hinges were shot but putting the new ones on lifted the door about 1/2 an inch Shocked but at least the door shouldn't hit the lower crossmember bit anymore now!!!

Old rusty worn out ones even after I fitted new bolts and brass inserts last year Rolling Eyes

Big thanks to buckblu110 Thumbs Up for pointing this out on ebay
Poor eBay pic.

I've been looking for one for the last few years after seeing tj101's 110 on here as I love the look but the wrap around ones never seem to come up for sale. It needs a bit of repair but I got it for a good price so just a 6 hour round trip to pick it up on Friday and then a bit of work fixing Mr. Green Ray

Great find. They do look great. What is the damage it has sustained? 2002 110 td5

There was only one small pic of the damage but it looked like a couple of cracks on the top that had had some plastic filler poorly put in then not rubbed down Rolling Eyes hopefully not too bad to sort out but I got it at a very good price so should be sortable. Ray

With the spacers came the usual muck thrown up the sides so I popped over to mud this afternoon to pick these up

Just getting them painted and I'll get them fitted in the next couple of days Mr. Green Ray

Hopefully no more mud up the side Mr. Green

Just waiting for some bolts too arrive then I can raise the rear mud flaps a couple of inch which should also help Ray

Raise the flaps Ray or move them out? I moved mine out to prevent muck spray about 1-2" Thumbs Up

And no that isn't a midget in my passenger seat. Damn cyclists..... Laughing

Laughing I thought the midget was wearing a helmet because of your driving Rolling with laughter I might move the mud flaps out a little too but the moving up was because I lowered the back by about 2 inch and they catch when turning up and down all the steep hills around here. Should keep mud splatter down too though so a bit of a bonus Mr. Green Ray
