How hard were the rear windows to fit and where did you get them from?

The sliders and middle row were from masai. The sliders needed one corner of the appature filing out as the factory windows had less of a curve on one corner for some reason but overall not really a hard job, just time consuming. Make sure you buy some capped rivets before fitting though as the ones that came with the windows were open ones so would let water in. The middle row were a lot more of a pain because the mounts at the bottom of the wind down window need sticking on with proper window primer and sealant (luckily my mate is a window fitter) and you need to make sure they are in exactly the right place.

So would recommend them both or save up and get Landyglass?
Are they decent quality? |

If you don't mind the work I would recommend them as the quality is good and the tint is not too dark, but have everything ready to do the job before you start or its a pita

Yes, not looking forward to crawling round underneath I went for hydrate 80 because I saw your rear crossmember refurb post I'll post up how it goes.
I've already fitted the cps which seems too have sorted a slight hunting on idle I had, but I've only been for a short drive so,don't know if it's just a coincidence. The old cps did look rough though and didn't have the spacer! Ray |

just been to the garage as my rattle sounded quite noisy today (it's been intermittent) and my fears were confirmed, or at least they thought the same as me. The couple year old DMF seems to be on its way out I see a big bill coming my way

Won some new genuine washer jets on ebay the other day, so I picked up some washer tube and a t peice from halfords over the weekend. I just need a bit of dry weather now to do the two washer mod and I'll hopefully have clear windows this winter also started hydrate 80ing the back third of the chassis and will add some dinitrol tomorrow. The warm weather has helped me out as I didn't think I'd still have time this year. Checked out the internals of my disco transfer box too today and they look pretty clean so I'll stick two output seals in (just in case) and throw it on while the DMF is getting done this week and hope that it's a good un

Beat you to the washer mod did it 2 weeks ago.
The hole is an oval, I used 2 tap washers to cover the hole and seal it. |

Didn't photo it
http://www.defender2.net/forum/post363091.html#363091 But can be seen in this photo, dead easy, just need a T piece about 2 foot of extra tube and some 1" rubber tap washers and a rubber grommet to fill old hole. |
