Nice work! Glad to see you working with the POR 15. I used it on my entire frame when I did my teardown. If you are patient and go the whole route of removing the rust, use the metal prep and then paint, it will be the last thing standing after the apocalypse! it's a Landrover thing...

Thumbs Up I needed to get it driveable as I’ve got to take the kids for their one day of school on Thursday Rolling with laughter loads of bits left to do but most of it can be prepped off the car. Also need to find a decent bonnet now as I’m liking the no checker plate on the wings and want the bonnet one gone. Ray

I emailed the eBay seller Ray, they wanted £850 for the pipes and lower dash. (I already have a compressor) they didn't have a condenser.

Shocked £850 Shocked they are selling the under dash bit on eBay for about £350 and I think they sold me the pipes for about £100 ish so I think they are having a laugh!!!

I managed to do enough Today so I can drive it tomorrow Rolling with laughter I’m still waiting on some spacers to refit the steering guard and it needs buffing before I stick the a bar on then I’ll get it booked in for the windscreen surround painting and it should look a bit tidier.

Looks great! I think the bonnet chequer plate needs to go though Whistle

I’m starting looking at Finding a decent bonnet next as I only put chequer plate on because the previous owner drilled a big hole in the middle of the bonnet Big Cry I also got two new.......flaps Rolling with laughter painted while the wings were being painted but I’ll fit them when the windscreen surround gets painted in a couple of weeks Thumbs Up just at the side in this pic

Air con rad (in yesterday) pipes, pump, under dash unit and half the wiring in today (with a little quiet time while a couple of the kids were at school) Just waiting on a couple electrical connectors to finish the wiring then I’ll get it gassed up to see if all the o rings hold. Still waiting on my spacers arriving for the steering guard and some plastic washers so the headlight clear covers can go on then I’ve got to decide if I fit an a bar back on or leave it off Question Ray
