I'm doing it JSTs way so took a bit of force to get the duct out on Sunday. But minesa going in backward to JSTs so I'm making a ss bracket this week. Should be the hardest bit done. Then connect it all up and buy a T71....that'll blow the budget.
110's in for a new TB next week |

For anyone following on, this has turned out to be the perfect solution and much better than the standard control board. A basic ability at soldering is required, but nothing too taxing. Once installed it is switched by a simple 12V supply and has all the usual safety cut-outs. It also has a number of LEDs so you can see what it is doing and an onboard buzzer which allows for fault code analysis. Arrived within 4 days of ordering. Thanks dgardel works a treat |

After sitting for a couple of hours each way at Portsmouth & Caen last week, I decided to get my 4rse in gear and start to fit my Eberspacher D3 today.
Went the DGardel route and cut an access panel in the rear floor, pulled the sender unit out and made a dip tube from some 5mm Kunifer tube, drilled a 8mm bolt lengthways and silver soldered it approx 320mm up the pipe, giving me a bulkhead fitting I could fit seals to and bolt through the sender unit. I put a single flare on the outlet end of the pipe, where the rubber fuel line pushes over. I cut a pieice of stainless plate and siliconed it over the hole so it doestn't show through the mat. I fitted the unit under the second row of seats, but haven't finished running the wiring yet. Temporarily rigged up a supply from the additional fuse box, and it fired up second attempt - TOASTIE! Does anyone have a part number/source for the one-way valve?
