Ah I know the one. I've seen it before but the product code / name doesn't ring a bell.
![]() This is pretty tasty IMO: ![]() Click image to enlarge http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kenwood-KAC-6203...4cfb759ce7 Damned good price too. My Sub cost more than that alone. ![]() ![]() β½οΈπ’οΈβοΈπ§°πͺ |

True, They aren't the most powerful or top quality one's. Price is good though. TheThunder Rollsπ¬π§πΊπΈ

Hi,
I bit of advice please. I have a Kenwood DAB HU which is great and it is connected to my active Alpine sub. Until recently the power cables and sub cables ran either side of the cubby and no interference. I now have the cables all neatly [ish] stored under the passenger seat and I am occaisonally getting a heavy thrumming feedback through the sub that intensivies if I move the cables or lay my hand on them. The sub is temporarily cable tied to the re-inforcing bar behind the passenger seat. Until I replace the sub [going to look for a more compact one to fit behind the new lower cubby] is there any way I can shield/insulate the cables easily? This is new territory for me so please treat me as a numpty ![]() |

Try and isolate the power and earth cables from all audio signal cables. I.e. put the power and earth one side and the RCA's / Sub signal cables the other. Having a shielded RCA's can help too which is what I chose on mine.
Also if you find the power and the signals have to cross paths try and make it at right angles rather than following one another. It's all due to electrical fields. ![]() β½οΈπ’οΈβοΈπ§°πͺ |

Could also try a new earth, cleaning the old contacts. Other than that as Steve says it will be RCA's or defective amp in Sub.

Thanks, I will try and re-route the cables over the weekend. And research a smaller sub. BM52

If it still does it try some shielded RCA's. ( No need for £20 one's E-bay shielded RCA's I have been pleased with for around £10 TheThunder Rollsπ¬π§πΊπΈ
