Heard of Armour before had goods not from them but through them before. Very useful as they import a lot from the US. OT but do you know if I rang them they would be able to sell direct to me?

On subject - That's pretty big as you've worked out already. Gives you some idea of the power output which is good! Trickiest part if you use the rear of your 90 as I do with mine is finding room. If your any good with fibreglass then near the head lining I would use but personally I've never used the stuff. The biggest headache is finding the room for the speakers and grilles and to add to that the volume on-top of that. Thinking cap on I think. Laughing No Guts, No Glory.

I thought it was big Exclamation previously the boxes I made sat on top of the wheel arches tucked in the corners either side of the door. Quick calcs mean an internal measurement 10x10.5 x5 inches will give me just over .51 cu/ft. Means they will sit forward about 7 inches on the wheel arches ??? Not sure about that ?????

On your other note, I don't know is the answer ?? Seemed pretty friendly on the phone. Give them a ring and ask, they have a sales team/department. Thumbs Up

I shall have to give that a try as they have some good brands! AFAIK they are suppliers for Halfords and others so cuts out a middle man so prices in theory should be cheaper IF they sold to the public..

With sizing if you want to use on top the arches - All You'd need to do to keep it from sticking out is just make it a little longer to compensate. I.e. rather than making a square shape or slightly rectangular make it a longer rectangular shape. Take the width of the arch and don't alter that figure but to get the correct internal volume just make it longer.

make sense? Thumbs Up No Guts, No Glory.

That was what I was trying to say Embarassed It will travel up the arch by about 7/8 inches. It could be less if I utilized the awkward shape between the tub and arch, but that is a lot of hassle, and when you do the offside will foul the diesel filler !!! Its an additional 2.5 inches more than my current boxes. I'll have a play tomorrow.
Ps Google Armour, they have all the contact details on their site. Thumbs Up

I will I have been on their site before. Wink Good luck with it. And I totally understand what you mean by hassle of odd size boxes I've had it. Laughing Best way I found was to make the best educated guess at the size that you can. Providing it isn't out by a lot it won't make any difference as there is give and take. The nearer the larger figure the better IMO as you get the better bass response then and lower frequency.

Thumbs Up No Guts, No Glory.

[][/i mg] Did that work ?? Trying to post a picture.... Computers are not my strong point ! Whistle

The answer is no Big Cry

Trying to show you the dynamat Steve. In answer to your question yes covered everything except the roof and 2 doors up front. Added additional rubber matting so no there will be no exposed large metal surfaces which will dramatically change the acoustics of the stereo. Dynamat all the way Thumbs Up It does a great job making things quieter (although it will always be noisier than a Bentley) But it changes the whole vehicle.

Enclosures made - all I need say is wow. Just got to finish, going to cover in the rubber matting to match the sides. Focal have stopped making the polyglass 6x9, so opted for something else. Sounds awesome, but my little active sub is somewhat lost........ Think I'm going to end up with a proper sub Big Cry More expense and ear ache from the wife
