Ah I see. That should be no issue either. Once paired the driver just has to BT search on the phone and connect that's it. In fact probably so long as the BT is active on the phone it'll work just by being in range.

I took a somewhat different approach..
I replaced the rear windows for my CSW with "gullwing" doors. On the one side I built a kitchen, and on the other side I store my tools / recovery equipment. About a third of these boxes were used for the speaker boxes. Standard Radio Standard speakers 1 x amp 2 x 6x9's 2 x 10" subs During the build: ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge Left side speaker holes: ![]() Click image to enlarge Right side speaker holes: ![]() Click image to enlarge The amp under the rear seat: ![]() Click image to enlarge There you can see speakers fitted. ^^^^ I can see plenty of work went into that. Sorry for the late reply... I think you made a good choice in adding some 6x9's into the system I think their output and sound quality is often under estimated.
On a different note earlier on in the year I did recommend the Kenwood active sub (I forget the model number) However just having a browse tonight and I think this: http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/kic-hs8-kicker-hs8.html would give it a damned good run for it's money. Not sure what the output comparison is like. I would imagine more being Kicker. ![]() EDIT* Video here: Chillin In The Backwoodsπ¬π§πΊπΈ β½οΈπ’οΈβοΈπ§°πͺ |

Done a bit more to mine lately to get it just right:
![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ^^ Courtesy of CSK (Photo doesn't do it justice really) ![]() Click image to enlarge ^^ 50% Loose fill Polyfil (Polyester filling) ![]() Click image to enlarge ^^ Cubby internally sealed with small usable area at the top. (Internal volume measured & correct) [Carpet is also jet black not grey as it looks in the picture] ![]() Click image to enlarge ^^ Elastic strap securing lid. It's only purpose is to prevent the lid vibrating like hell when the Sub starts thumping. (It does it's job perfectly. If you want to see more photo's you can find them on page 8 & 9 here: https://www.defender2.net/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=945 Not finished as such in general I do have a few other plans but not too much more now. Lows are sorted mids aren't too bad nor Highs. Just upgrade tweeters sometime to get the highs just right after that a little more in the rear by mids perhaps some powerful Amped 6x9's other than that no more will be required. ![]() β½οΈπ’οΈβοΈπ§°πͺ |

Ah, That was Chris (Killer 90) He painted it for me.
![]() This is the finish: ![]() Click image to enlarge The red flake effect in it isn't noticeable 98% of the time but in the sun or if you look closely you can see it. As far as I'm concerned he's done an excellent job. ![]() β½οΈπ’οΈβοΈπ§°πͺ |

custom90steve, god of ICE!!!
Would you please be so kind to give me some advise: as posted here on page 10/11 I upgraded my sytem a few weeks ago, but the bass of the sytem is still quiet poor. Put some new Focal 2-way speakers PC100 to the front, leaving the original upper dash-tweeters as they came from factory http://www.focal.com/en/car-audio-sound/sp...pc-100.php To give the system a little more bass I want to install a subwoofer. Doesn't have to be a big boomboom, only a little more bass than now. So here is the question: JVC-AVX77 has a separate sub-out with 5 volts, do I have to buy an active sub (what I dont't really like to do because of having to wire powerlines again), or is it possible to use a passive sub in a 20-25 cm hole in the cubby box (smilar to your installation) with only using one cable from the sub-out from the 4x50 watt headunit? The manual doesn't say what type is needed and if the internal amlifier gives high or low power to the sub-out. It is only stated that it gives 5 volts http://jdl.jvc-europe.com/product.php?id=K...es_section Thanks for your help and MERRY CHRISTMAS |
