Just a reminder that one of the bolts is shorter otherwise can bind the intermediate gears.
Edit - just a note for when you re assemble.

That looks pretty good. I'd clean if thoroughly and reassemble with plenty of molybdenum disulphide grease (CV joint grease) and a new seal.

How many miles has that done?

21k miles. not even run ...

Splines look OK to me. No slack. Bone dry of course, so I'll put some EP grease in there.

I know the brown dust is worn off metal but there's not much of it.

Don't forget to inspect and lubricate the infamous output adaptor shaft coupling.

I'm thinking of swapping it out for a LOF one piece part.

Got the CAT out. I took off the lower heat shield and it pretty much came straight out after rotating about 90 degrees.

Didn't need to take off the ARB.

Next issue is the mid silencer box flange ...

Try to get the LOF kit that comes with a better quality friction plate and bearing/slave cylinder.

OK, I'll look at taking the front ARB off. So the downpipe may need to be rotated a lot to get the cat out?
