The 'seal' is a bit of a joke, held in place with a cable tie and some thin plastic. What's its purpose? To seal what? It doesn't keep the rusty dust in and there's no oil or grease to seal in either...

The whole arrangment must have been designed on a Monday morning or Friday afternoon...

The seal is adequate if the joint is packed with grease.
