The leak there causes leaking oil/exhaust from the crankcase to the turbo, so check these hoses. Afaik no contamination of the oil as an indicator -- sooner or later for sure. |

One problem that also leads to oil consumption are worn copper seals of the injectors. Inspect them carefully or have them done immediately. Check the breather pipe (crankase vent). |

All i can say is that the oil consumption is rather low. You could try a product like https://toralin.com/toralin-compression-repair.html and see if it gets better. If not, a change to 10W-40 might he ... |
