It's the rear propshaft,nothing serious if you can stand the noise.The only cure is to change it with a TD5's one (from the "SALISBURY" rear Diff model).

No they do not have the same length,TD5's prop is longer.

Sorry but I dont understand,remove the screws attaching the rear propshaft to the diff and rotate the halfshafts?

The noise you hear when you turn on or off the engine is the springs of the clutch disc falling apart,I΄ve just changed mine with a new ....improved type as LR says.
