It's a wired update, dealer or LR Assist do it in the UK. It stops relay theft and the cloning of a new smart key via the ODB port.

The AEB can be overridden by the driver, eg by applying the brake or presumably by mashing the accelerator.

lightning - NFU are worth a try. I stayed with them (just last month) - they were cheaper than Aviva (lots!) and LV. Plus if you pay monthly they don't charge interest unlike pretty much everyone else ...

Mine went up a bit for the second year. About £1100 with LR Assist. They don’t charge interest if you pay monthly. Also includes European cover.
